Types of levelling sets
To meet a wide range of requirements, the norelem range offers a broad selection of levelling sets.
We offer a total of eight different designs of levelling elements. Below, you can find individual products and their specific properties and areas of application.
Levelling Sets with spherical levelling washer
Levelling elements with spherical levelling washers are perfect for applications where additionally an adjustment of inclination is required.
They are specifically designed for levelling, precise alignment and stable installation of motors, power units, drive elements and production lines. Even on sloping surfaces with an angle of inclination of up to 4°, the levelling sets allow for precise adjustment.
The standard version is made of tempered steel 1.7225, electro-galvanised and blue passivated. As a result, the design offers improved corrosion protection. The other design is made of stainless steel or 1.4305 stainless steel with natural finish.
Depending on the design, the minimum height (Hmin) of the levelling sets with spherical levelling washer is 22 mm. The maximum height (Hmax) 144 mm. You can easily predefine the required height using the filter option on the side.

Low profile levelling sets
Low profile levelling sets are available for confined spaces. The low height of the low profile levelling sets allows easy adjustment even in confievellingned spaces.
Just like the other levelling sets, the standard version is made of QT steel 1.7225. It is electro zinc-plated and blue passivated, which protects it against corrosion and ensures its durability.
The stainless steel version, on the other hand, is made of rust-free, blank free-cutting steel 1.4305. Due to the material it's perfect for applications with increased requirements as to hygiene or corrosion resistance. Depending on the design, the minimum height (Hmin) ranges from 15 mm to a maximum height (Hmax) of 54 mm.
The low profile levelling sets are available in two different design, one with and one without a lock nut.
Levelling sets with lock nut
Levelling sets with lock nuts allow for height differences to be accurately levelled. The integrated lock nut also provides another crucial function:
It reliably secures set height against unintentional adjustment. This is particularly important in areas where:
- Vibrations
- dynamic loads or
- regular movements occur,
that could affect the original adjustment.
Tightening the lock nut secures the connection so that the position remains stable at all times. This not only prevents unwanted changes in height, but also helps reduce stress on threads and bearing points. Levelling sets with lock nuts are available in various sizes, allowing for flexible adjustment to different requirements.
