Housing steel.
Coil housing plastic.
Permanent magnet hard ferrite or NdFeB.
Coil housing plastic.
Permanent magnet hard ferrite or NdFeB.
Note
The permanent electromagnet can fixate workpieces permanently. When a current (direct current) is applied, the coil in the core either neutralises the magnetic field or increases the magnetic force (depending on the current direction). Once switched off, the effect is deactivated.
The permanent electromagnets are secured using the threads on the rear. The electrical connection is made via the DIN valve connector as per EN 175301-803 (formerly DIN 43650). These have PIN's fitted to secure the wires directly. PIN 1 is the positive terminal (+), PIN 2 the negative terminal (-).
The specified magnetic forces may be reduced depending on the material thickness and surface finish of the material.
