Intelligent locating bushes and positioning bushes for precise mounting
Holders and positioning bushes are used to hold indexing, operating or locking elements safely and quickly. They thus form the locating point for various pin-shaped indexing and operating elements, into which they can latch securely and precisely. They are made from steel or stainless steel and are therefore particularly robust. The locating and positioning bushes from the norelem range are available with or without inductive status sensors. The sensor can be flexibly adjusted to the indexing pin depth.

The inductive sensor enables actuation-dependent process control. The integrated sensor permits the elements to be safely and reliably monitored and it can be determined whether they are in the correct position. Adding a sensor is a simple and cost-effective way of ensuring a high level of process reliability.
The use of several locating or positioning bushes with status sensors makes it possible to determine in which bush the indexing element is located. With the use of an intelligent locating bush with a sensor, machining only begins when certain indexing elements are in the correct locating bush. This results in advantages such as a reduction in material losses and increased process reliability.

Buy spacer rings for secure fixation of indexing plungers
Spacer rings for locking and indexing plungers are used to adapt the thread length of the plunger to the screw-in depth (wall thickness) of the application. This ensures that the pin is seated correctly and that the clamping or locking is stable.
A locking or indexing pin is used to hold machine parts in position and lock them. Without the appropriate spacer ring, the pin may be too short and the locking mechanism may not engage or may be too long, which impairs its function.
The use of spacer rings ensures an optimum and secure connection, as the pin is firmly and correctly seated in the counterpart

With another version of the spacer rings for compression latches, the plate thickness for the compression latches can be varied from 3 to 10 mm.
Spiral cable and retaining cable for professional securing
As they are particularly robust and wear-resistant, the elastic spiral cables from norelem are suitable for securing fixture parts.
The spiral cable is made from high-quality PUR and has a stable structure that ensures a long service life and high wear resistance. Depending on the version, the eyelets of the spiral cables are made of zinc-plated copper or bright stainless steel and are therefore corrosion-resistant.
The construction of the spiral cable is complemented by a robust key ring made from chrome-plated steel or stainless steel, which makes the spiral cable as a whole both elastic and mechanically extremely resilient.
Ball lock pins and locking pins can be secured with a retaining cable.
The retaining cable is made from rust-resistant stainless steel, which means it remains reliable and durable even under intensive use and demanding conditions.
The clip and crimp terminal are made from lightweight but robust aluminium and ensure a secure attachment. The plastic coating ensures the cable is additionally protected against abrasion and is also pleasant to handle. This secures the ball lock and locking pins while ensuring robustness and resistance in daily use.
We offer three versions of retaining cables in our range:
- Retaining cable Form A: type with one eyelet and one crimp terminal
- Retaining cable Form B: has a crimp terminal on both ends
- Retaining cable Form C: has eyelets on both ends
The key rings are ideal as accessories for retaining cables and safety spiral cables. They can also be used in combination with ball lock pins, locking pins and indexing plungers, provided these have a small hole in the grip or a pull ring. The robust design makes them easy to attach and form a secure connection for daily use.
Bowden cables, Bowden cable distributors and wire cables for remote actuation
The norelem range includes a wide selection of Bowden cables and extensions for the remote actuation of indexing plungers.
Our Bowden cables for indexing plungers are used for the remote actuation of indexing plungers in order to position and fixate them. They are available in different lengths and can be individually shortened during installation.
The operator can unlock and re-lock the indexing plunger via a bowden cable without having to be directly before the workpiece. The stainless steel Bowden cables for indexing plungers are also suitable for use in harsh environments.
The Bowden cable distributor for indexing plungers with remote actuation also enables three Bowden cables to be combined. This means that two indexing plungers can be actuated simultaneously using a single control element.
All you need to do is pull on one of the two actuating elements to engage the indexing plunger. The Bowden cable distributor thus ensures a high degree of flexibility and enables use in various applications and working environments.
The housing and slide of the Bowden cable distributors are made from robust thermoplastic, while the set screws and screw nipples are made from brass. Hexagon nuts and housing screws are made from stainless steel, which ensures high stability, corrosion resistance and durability.
Set screws serve as spare parts for the indexing plunger with remote actuation. They are used to precisely adjust the length of the tension sleeve and set the required tension in the Bowden cable system.
The screw nipples in the Bowden cable are small connecting elements that are used to fixate the free end of the wire cable. The wire cable is guided through the screw nipple and clamped using the screw. It can be easily mounted, detached and, if necessary, moved to a different position on the cable
End sleeves in the Bowden cable are small end elements that are attached to the end of the tension sleeve (outer sleeving).

- Fastening sets for thin-walled parts are used to attach indexing plungers to e.g. sheet metal. They are made from either free-cutting steel or stainless steel and facilitate a stable and durable connection.
- Steel mounting brackets with a black oxidised finish are a practical mounting aid for cam-action indexing plungers and extend their application field. They can also be used for indexing plungers and are available in two variants (vertical or parallel).
- Aluminium mounting brackets for cam-action indexing plungers and indexing plungers are used as a mounting aid for cam-action indexing plungers and indexing plungers and can extend the application range.
- Clamping pins for quarter-turn latches are used to safely install these latches. Two mounting options are available for different plate thicknesses. The clamping pins are simply screwed into the thread and tightened, which enables rapid handling.
- Safety cables have been specially designed for star grips as a captive operating part, but can also be used to retrofit existing star grips, knurled knobs and knurled screws from the norelem range.
